Why Living On-Campus Is The BEST Option!?

Living on-campus was one the best decisions I made in my first year of college. The people I have gotten to know inside my residence hall are people I will stay in touch with for the rest of my life. I have gained so many strong friendships and these people make things a little less stressful at WPI.
Living on-campus in a big residence hall literally means you are living ON-CAMPUS! All the academic buildings, athletic facilities, and any other services that WPI provides are a walking distance.
Living on-campus is so convenient, especially for people living in Daniels (where I live) and Morgan Halls. People living in these two halls don't have to leave their building to go eat! The cafeteria (DAKA we call it) is in the same building, which is so convenient. Other residence halls do not have to walk to far to get to DAKA, also.
If you don't know by now, WPI runs on 7 week terms, so from the beginning of the term to the end of the term, there is so much work to do. Living in a residence hall makes these terms less difficult for me. Living in a floor of people my age who have to deal with the same stresses of academics, I can always look for someone to support me or find someone who may be taking the same class and help each other out if we have trouble with something. I do not feel like I am the only one dealing with the college transition.
Living on-campus is the best way to get the full college experience especially in your first year of college.
